Our Lady of Grace

In 1830 Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure and told her to commission the "Miraculous Medal." This image has come to be known as "Our Lady of Grace" because Our Lady assures that those who wear the medal with confidence will receive great grace. Traditionally portrayed as striking down the demon, Our Lady of Grace is a representation of the Virgin Mary with a powerful protection. This wood statue is 8" high with Our Lady in two color choices hand-sculpted by the nuns in the monasteries of Bethlehem in France.
