Our Lady of Lourdes

This delicately painted statue of Our Lady of Lourdes recalls the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1858 in a grotto at Lourdes, France, to Saint Bernadette Soubirous. Our Lady instructed Bernadette to dig in the ground nearby, from which came a spring with remarkable healing properties, still active to this day. This wooden statue is 10.5” high, is hand-sculpted, and painted in a delicate stain, by nuns in the Monasteries of Bethlehem in France.
